There is an improper authentication vulnerability in several smartphones. The applock does not perform a sufficient authentication in certain scenarios, successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain certain data of the application which is locked. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2019-12128 and HWPSIRT-2019-12129)
The two vulnerabilities have been assigned two Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) IDs: CVE-2020-1793 and CVE-2020-1794.
Huawei has released software updates to fix these vulnerabilities. This advisory is available at the following link:

This vulnerability can be exploited only when the following conditions are present:
The attacker gets the smartphone.
Vulnerability details:
The applock does not perform a sufficient authentication in certain scenarios, successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain certain data of the application which is locked.
The product that supports automatic update will receive a system update prompt. You can install the update to fix the vulnerability.
