There are five input validation vulnerabilities in the Camera driver of some Huawei smart phones. An attacker may trick a user into installing a malicious application, and the application can send given parameter to Camera driver to crash the system or escalate user privilege. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2016-05138, HWPSIRT-2016-05139, HWPSIRT-2016-05140, HWPSIRT-2016-05141, HWPSIRT-2016-05142)
These vulnerabilities have been assigned Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) ID: CVE-2016-6180, CVE-2016-6181, CVE-2016-6182, CVE-2016-6183, CVE-2016-6184.

1. Prerequisite:
The attacker successfully tricks a user into installing a malicious application on the smart phone.
2. Attacking procedure:
An attacker may trick a user into installing a malicious application, and the application can send given parameter to Camera driver to crash the system or escalate user privilege.
1. The product that supports automatic update will receive a system update prompt. You can install the update to fix the vulnerability.
