An attacker may trick a user into installing a malicious application, and the application can exploit this vulnerability to gain privileges for certain system calls.
Smart phones that support automatic update will receive a system update prompt. You can install the update to fix the vulnerability.
This vulnerability was disclosed by Di Shen and Jiahong Fang at the Black Hat Europe 2016 conference held in November 2016.
