The GaussDB has a buffer overflow vulnerability due to the lack of input validation on some parameters. An authenticated attacker on the LAN can exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition in the affected system. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2017-04112)
This vulnerability has been assigned Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) ID: CVE-2017-2714.
