There is an authentication bypass vulnerability in the 'Find Phone' function of some Huawei smart phone. Due to improper authentication realization in the 'Find Phone' function. An attacker may exploit the vulnerability to bypass the 'Find Phone' function in order to use the phone normally. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2017-09165)
This vulnerability has been assigned a Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) ID: CVE-2017-15351.

This vulnerability can be exploited only when the following conditions are present:
1. An attacker got phone because user lost it or it was stolen.
Vulnerability details:
Due to improper authentication realization in the 'Find Phone' function. An attacker may exploit the vulnerability to bypass the 'Find Phone' function in order to use the phone normally.
Mobile phones that support automatic update will receive a system update prompt. You can install the update to fix the vulnerabilities.
This vulnerability was discovered by Huawei internal tester.
