Vulnerability details:
There is a use of insufficiently random values vulnerability in Huawei ViewPoint products. An unauthenticated, remote attacker can guess information by a large number of attempts. Successful exploitation may cause information leak.
Solution 1: Disable the SSH login function. The following uses the VP9660 as an example to describe how to disable SSH login.
Web interface: Choose Settings > System > HTTP/Telnet > Support SSH
Solution 2: Modify the firewall policy or Datacom device policy to allow only valid IP addresses to access TCP port 22 of any IP address of the MCU. This solution is recommended.
